FLUSHING, Queens (PIX11) -- A man is accused of fatally stabbing his mother-in-law and attacking his brother-in-law before cutting himself on the wrist and setting their Queens home on fire Thursday afternoon, according to police sources.

The 27-year-old suspect allegedly attacked the 50-year-old woman and the 17-year-old boy during a fight in the home on Smart Avenue near 45th Avenue in Flushing at around 3:30 p.m., according to the NYPD and sources.

Authorities found the woman, Qiujin Shi, unconscious with a stab wound to the abdomen and the teen with multiple stab wounds to the body, police said. Shi was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. The boy is recovering from his injuries at the hospital.
