HAMILTON — The last contest of Thursday's flag football tournaments provided drama through the final moments.

A late Jefferson touchdown from quarterback Jillian Senechal to Kendall Smith, followed by a successful PAT, gave the Panthers a one-point lead with less than three minutes to go in the contest. The Wolves took back over needing to drive the length of the field for a go-ahead score.

High-intensity moments, Three Forks head coach Maree Hansen said, are what her team is built for.

"That's part of our game plan, we want to take away as much time from the other team," Hansen said. "We want those last two minutes. We're confident in our girls, they're fast, they're jet rockets.

"We can score."
