The director is in talks with the actor

xWith Deepika Padukone opting out of the Kalki sequel, the buzz is that director Nag Ashwin is looking at doing another project while a new leading lady is locked for Kalki 2.

The proposed project will reportedly be a female-led story, for which Ashwin is aiming to rope in Sai Pallavi.

A source in the know says, “Sai Pallavi and Nag Ashwin have been in talks for a while. Nag is either thinking of starting an entirely new project or replacing Deepika with Sai Pallavi in Kalki 2.”
