TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - This weekend, all eyes are on Doak Campbell Stadium as Florida State takes on Miami in one of college football’s most storied rivalries. But while the spotlight shines on the gridiron, there’s big news off the field too.
Renovations at Doak Campbell are officially finished, marking the completion of a multi-million-dollar project to modernize the stadium.
With a new partnership with Professional Bull Riders (PBR), Doak is poised to host events that extend far beyond football.
FSU Athletic Director Michael Alford said the upgrades are about more than just game day traditions.
“It’s the first real kick off to Doak Campbell with the renovations and events coming to Tallahassee,” Alford said.
