Three suspects are now in custody after an investigation into robberies of armored trucks in the Philadelphia region led to a pursuit into Lower Merion, Pennsylvania, police said Friday.
Lower Merion Police Superintendent Andy Block said his police department got a call around 11 a.m. from Philadelphia police and the FBI about the pursuit of three suspects wanted in connection with a string of armored truck robberies in the region.
The pursuit ended up in the Bala Cynwyd and Lower Merion area, Block said. The police superintendent said a white Honda was found unoccupied in Bala Cynwyd with weapons inside. Police believe the suspects fled on foot.
