In a letter provided to the CJ, Mitch McConnell wrote Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth about the situations at Fort Campbell and Fort Knox in an attempt to allow their football teams to play.

The government shutdown has put Friday night games involving the Fort Campbell and Fort Knox football teams in jeopardy.
