CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Firefighters quickly extinguished a dump truck fire this morning, October 3, 2025, on Little Neck Road near Bush Road.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Chatham County Fire Department crews were dispatched to the dump truck fire at 11:06 a.m., with multiple units responding to the scene, according to a social media post made by the department.

Upon arrival, firefighters say they found visible smoke and flames coming from the dump truck.

Fire suppression efforts began immediately, with crews successfully containing the blaze and preventing it from spreading to nearby areas.

The department deployed multiple resources to the scene, including engine companies, a squad unit, and a safety officer.
