Yankees starter Cam Schlittler wasn’t finished pouncing on the Red Sox . Even after holding Boston scoreless through eight innings with 12 strikeouts, he wanted more.

So shortly after the Yankees’ 4-0 win on Thursday, officially eliminating their division rivals from the postseason, after the champagne celebration, Schlittler decided to do some trolling. He whipped out his phone and began burying the Red Sox further.

First came a post on X/Twitter at around 12:15 a.m. where he wrote, "Drinking dat dirty water."

“Dirty Water” is a reference to a 1966 song by The Standells that has become a Red Sox anthem. The song is played after every Red Sox home win at Fenway Park.
