KINGSTON — Kingston Transit is to begin rolling out temporary changes to some of its routes in the coming weeks in response to ongoing construction.
Starting Oct. 6, changes to some routes are to start being put in place that the city said would improve reliability, reduce delays and maintain coverage.

“We’re aware of the challenges passengers have been facing and understand their frustration due to delays and unplanned cancellations,” Ian Semple, the commissioner of transportation and infrastructure services, said in a news release. “We recognize the importance of being able to depend on transit as an essential source of transportation. These temporary changes will help make travel more reliable as we work toward restoring full service.”
