ANTRIM COUNTY — An Alden man has been convicted following a Michigan State Police investigation into sexual assault involving a minor.

According to an Oct. 3 news release from the MSP Gaylord Post, troopers began investigating in March after receiving a complaint that 34-year-old Travis Miller was allegedly engaging in inappropriate sexual conversations with juveniles.

During the investigation, troopers learned Miller had sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl on multiple occasions.

Miller was arrested in June and, on Sept. 29, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, both with multiple variables.
