A preliminary exam has been re-scheduled for a Farmington Hills man accused of stabbing his girlfriend, a West Bloomfield resident, after an argument escalated while they were traveling on M-10 in Detroit.

The exam is for the judge to be presented with evidence and then determine if probable cause exists to advance the case against Terrance Labrendo Wilson for possible trial in the Third Judicial Circuit in Wayne County.

Wilson, 39, is charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, felonious assault and domestic violence for the alleged attack with a pocket knife on Sept. 20.
