Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott ruled out two impact players on defense ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the New England Patriots.

The Bills’ defense has dealt with multiple injuries to begin the season, but two new players have popped up on the injury report and won’t play on Sunday Night Football.

McDermott said that rookie cornerback Dorian Strong and linebacker Dorian Williams are out due to injuries

“I don’t really know, a little bit maybe from this past weekend’s game, maybe something before that,” McDermott said about Strong’s injury on Friday. “We’re looking into that some more.”

Strong is dealing with a neck injury and has been playing opposite Christian Benford at cornerback. Veteran Tre’Davious White will likely take back his starting spot in Week 5 against the Pat
