LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a Las Vegas woman was found dead inside a cardboard box in an Arizona wash.

Officials responded to a report of a suspicious package located in a remote desert area just outside of Kingman, Arizona. Investigators found a dead body inside the box, later identified as Carolyn Ann Bosher, 57, of Las Vegas. Law enforcement officials described her as “a transient.”

A witness reported seeing a vehicle with an open trunk in the area near the wash at night, but was unable to identify the vehicle. Officials from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told Mohave County law enforcement that Bosher had been arrested for indecent exposure six days before her body was found.
