Dexter Lawrence did not practice all week due to an illness. But Giants head coach Brian Daboll said “knock on wood” his best player “should be good to go” for Sunday’s road game against the New Orleans Saints .

Lawrence is officially listed as questionable for the game.

“Dex is still sick,” Daboll said before practice. “He’ll be out here [standing on the sideline]. We’re not going to practice him. He should be ready to go, though.”

Daboll was asked if Lawrence might have to travel separately from the team.

“I don’t think so,” the Giants’ coach said. “I think he’s kind of getting over it right now. Again, we won’t practice him today, but he’s done a little bit inside with the trainers. We’re going to bring him out here. Knock on wood, he should be good to go.”
