Washington, DC — A 22-year-old man was arrested after a U.S. District Court search warrant led to a barricade situation at his Southeast DC home, linking him to an armed robbery at a beauty supply store in August, officials said.

George Carr, of Southeast, was taken into custody without incident on Wednesday, October 1, following a police operation at his residence. He has been charged with Armed Robbery (Gun) in connection to a violent holdup that occurred on Friday, August 1, around 6:10 p.m., in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast.
