SPOKANE, Wash. — A gas line was ruptured Friday morning after a vehicle crashed into a building outside a bank in Spokane’s Moran Prairie neighborhood.
The accident occurred near the First Interstate Bank at the intersection of East 57th Avenue and South Regal Street, according to the Spokane County Fire Department.
Authorities have closed off the surrounding area as a precaution.
Utility crews from Avista are on scene. Roads are expected to reopen by 1 p.m., officials said.
