A few showers have developed in northwestern New Mexico early this afternoon. Additional showers and rumbles of thunder are expected to develop in southern Colorado and northwest New Mexico throughout this afternoon and evening. The wet weather is accompanied by a low-pressure system that is also slated to bring breezy conditions as it pushes into the four corners region later today and into Saturday.

Tomorrow morning lows in Albuquerque will likely be on the milder side like the last few mornings. Conditions are expected to be a bit breezy early in the day while and will increase throughout the afternoon and evening. Calmer winds are forecasted once Sunday rolls around with sunshine. Looking ahead to next week rain chances return to New Mexico and southern Colorado as moisture increases
