Throughout his time at Westmoreland High School, Brayson Lassiter is described as the embodiment of school spirit.
As the school's mascot, Lassiter is said to never miss an opportunity to fire up the crowd in support of all school sports. The senior ended up with more than 50% of the vote, or 713 total, to earn the title of The Tennessean Student of the Week.
Lassiter was nominated by school counselor Tabitha Pardue, who said, "his dedication and energy have made him a true symbol of school spirit!"
The Tennessean asked Middle Tennessee schools last week to tell us all about students who exude the most school spirit and represent their school communities to the fullest.
After a week-long nomination period, we received four responses from guidance counselors, coaches, teachers and princ
