OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office reports a Seneca man charged with attempted murder and shooting at deputies overnight between Thursday and Friday.
Deputies said they responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on White Harbour Road and heard gunshots after arriving.
After announcing himself, a deputy saw a man come out onto the porch of the residence and begin firing multiple rounds from a handgun in the deputy’s direction, officials said.
The suspect came in and out of the house as more deputies arrived, refusing commands. He eventually came out of the house and approached deputies before he was hit by a taser and taken into custody, according to officials.
