WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) — More than 70 people are out of a job after an Amazon delivery partner closed its operations at a facility in Walker, according to a notice filed with the state.

CNC Logistics closed its facility along Northridge Dr. near 4 Mile Road on Aug. 27, it said in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification letter filed with the state last month.

It said it could not provide the state with 60 days' notice, as the sudden closure was due to "unforeseeable business circumstance."

"Specifically, our principal customer suddenly and unexpectedly informed us on August 27, 2025, that it would be terminating its contract with CNC Logistics DGR8 ... resulting in a substantial and immediate loss of business," the WARN letter says.
