JAMMU: The Swasthya Nari Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan, a national initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17, 2025, aims to promote preventive healthcare, community engagement, and women’s empowerment across India.
As part of this campaign, AIIMS Jammu conducted its local programme, culminating on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2nd, 2025.
During the programme, 20 health camps and 10 awareness sessions were organized across Samba and neighbouring areas, addressing critical women’s health issues such as cervical and breast cancer, HPV vaccination, menstrual hygiene, postpartum care, anemia, and nutrition.
