Pedestrian hit in Salt Lake crosswalk, in critical condition

SALT LAKE CITY — A pedestrian was hit by a truck while in a crosswalk in the area of 2000 West 500 South Friday morning, police said.

Detective Greg Lovell with the Salt Lake City police Department said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Lovell said the driver was cooperating with police.
