Mark Charles Garrett , a 56-year-old detective with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, lost his life in a motorcycle accident on October 1.

Visitation will be held on October 5 from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at New Spring Church, located in the Fuse East Building in Anderson.

The funeral will follow at 4 p.m. in the church.
