Week 7 of the 2025 North Carolina high school football season has arrived.

Nine area teams will compete on Friday, Oct. 3, as we've reached the final stretch of regular-season action. In Wilmington, Hoggard (5-0) hosts New Hanover (2-3) in the area's most established rivalry. Across the bridge in Leland, West Brunswick (4-2) searches for its first win over county rival North Brunswick (2-4) since 2021.
