Tilak Varma strengthened his case for a spot in India’s ODI team with a solid 94-run knock, but Australia A bounced back to win the rain-shortened second List A match by nine wickets on Friday.

Coming off his impressive performance in the Asia Cup final against Pakistan, Tilak once again showed his ability in the one-day format, helping India A post a total of 246, a modest score on the board.
