Kevin Girolametto is passionate about carp fishing.

It’s a passion he loves to share with others, whether working with Canadian military veterans through the Soldier On program, or seniors and children.

Recently, Girolametto, who works for Canada Post, and Dave Pendlebury recently spent a morning at the Grand Canal Retirement Residence on the east bank of Welland Recreational Canal trying to catch carp for residents of the building.

“We try to get here to catch some fish to show them what swims in their backyard,” he said, as the pair waited for residents to come back from a walk.
