The woman arrested for viciously shoving a senior off an MBTA bus will be barred from riding the transit network, among other punishments, after pleading no contest in her case.
Luz Pineda, 32, of Boston, was charged with assault and battery on an elder or disabled person, with injury, for shoving a 63-year-old victim off a bus in the area of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Warren Street on Sept. 8.
On Friday, Pineda admitted to sufficient facts in her case at municipal court in Roxbury. Judge Connor Barusch continued the case without a finding for two years.
Barusch ordered Pineda not to ride the MBTA, three months of GPS-monitored home confinement, to complete an anger management program, to stay away from and not contact the victim, and to continue with mental health treatment.
