Sean "Diddy" Combs was sentenced to more than 4 years in prison following an intense, high-profile federal trial that concluded with his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution .
Prosecutors asked Subramanian to sentence Combs to 11 years in prison , calling the music mogul "unrepentant" and referencing his admitted domestic abuse. Combs' attorneys, on the other hand, asked the judge to sentence him to no more than 14 months behind bars .
Combs had already spent more than a year behind bars, since his arrest in September 2024.
Prior to his sentencing hearing, Combs wrote a letter to Subramanian asking for mercy, saying he is taking "full responsibility and accountability for my past wrongs," and directly apologized for striking Casandra "Cassie" Vent
