GREEN LAKE, Wis. (WFRV) - A person was killed on Friday morning after a dump truck reportedly crashed into a pickup truck in Green Lake.

According to the Green Lake County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred around 10:40 a.m. as officials were alerted by a 911 call concerning a two-vehicle crash on County Highway A near Miller Road.

Officials say that a loaded dump truck heading north on County Highway A reportedly collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck heading east on Miller Road. The dump truck driver was transported to be evaluated; however, no specific injury description was given.

The pickup truck driver was hospitalized via a helicopter, and the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
