Amanda Seyfried's latest film, "The Testament of Ann Lee" now has a release date.
The film follows Amanda in the title role of Ann Lee, who is the founder of the religious sect known as the Shakers and who proclaimed herself a female incarnation of Christ.
The film also stars Thomasin McKenzie, Lewis Pullman, Tim Blake Nelson and Christopher Abbott. It's directed by Mona Fastvold.
Searchlight Pictures acquired "The Testament of Ann Lee" at the Venice Film Festival where it made its debut.
Seyfried spoke about the film at a press conference there.
