Two National Women’s Soccer League clubs with differing goals meet up on Friday night in Texas, as the Houston Dash play host to the Orlando Pride.

The Pride are trying to find some footing to climb back toward the top of the NWSL standings with just a few matches to go in the regular season. Following an important 2-1 win over the San Diego Wave last Friday, which snapped a nine-match winless drought for the team in league play, Orlando is back to above .500, and still within striking distance of home-field advantage for at least the first round of the postseason.

Heading into Friday, the Pride sits fifth in the NWSL, one point back of the Seattle Reign for fourth, and just two points behind third-place Gotham FC.
