WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Taylor Swift superfans around the globe are listening to her brand new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," and that includes fans in and around the District.
The Swifties will be out in full force this weekend as D.C. bars and restaurants look to cash in on the hype with listening parties and specials.
“We're ready. We can't wait for people to come in. It's a very special night. We haven't had something like this happen before of this magnitude, so we're very excited,” said Madhatter’s general manager, Mikias Abebayehu.
The bar will be playing “The Life of a Showgirl” Friday night from 9 to 10 p.m., along with pouring up cocktails inspired by Taylor's different eras.
