(CNN)– Amazon resumed its drone delivery service Friday, October 3.

The company had temporarily suspended its Prime Air delivery service Wednesday after the crash of two of its drones near Phoenix-Arizona.

The FAA said the drones collided into the boom of a crane within moments of each other.

Police said one of the 80 pound drones came down in the parking lot near the crane – while the second fell into a different parking lot.

A hazmat crew responded due to smoke and reported damage to the lithium-ion batteries.

No injuries were reported.
