As Calgary’s municipal election draws near, a new poll reveals a tight race among three leading candidates vying for the city’s top job.
According to the latest ‘Eye on Calgary’ survey conducted by Think HQ, Independent candidate Jeromy Farkas currently leads the field with 20 per cent of likely voter support.
Sonya Sharp, representing the Communities First Party, follows closely with 17 per cent, while incumbent mayor Jyoti Gondek, also running as an Independent, holds third place with 16 per cent.
Despite the narrowing margins among the top contenders, a significant portion of the electorate remains undecided.
The poll indicates that 27 per cent of Calgary voters have yet to choose their preferred candidate, leaving room for potential shifts in the final days of the campaign.
