A car crashed into the stairway of a Mountlake Terrace apartment building Thursday morning.

The accident happened at approximately 11:30 a.m. Thursday on Cedar Way in Mountlake Terrace. Despite the dramatic crash, no injuries were reported, South County Fire confirmed after investigating the scene of the crash.

No apartment unit was damaged either, just the external stairway.

“We’re so thankful no one was hurt when a car crashed into the exterior stairway of an apartment building,” South County Fire said in a statement.

The Mountlake Terrace Police Department is taking over the investigation.
