SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Gov. Spencer Cox announced Friday morning that the Utah Legislature had been called into a special session to “ address several matters of state business.”

The announcement said the session would take place on Monday.

The proclamation for the special session said the Legislature would be considering amendments to several bills, including to Utah Code §20A-19-103 “to address redistricting standards,” and “to consider adopting new congressional district boundaries in relation to ongoing redistricting litigation.”
