PLAQUEMINES PARISH, La. —
The Plaquemines Parish Tourism Commission held a dedication ceremony for a mural painted on the walls of the WDSU building.

Keith Duncan, the artist behind the mural, was raised in Plaquemines Parish.
"When I started doing this mural, I thought about these three boats, the three boats that represent the region in Plaquemines...my father worked for the pogie plant and he smelled of pogie...I see the boats as my place of residence," Duncan said.
The mural was painted before the Super Bowl.
