Frank, a sweet little mini Dachshund, has been the center of his mom Jordan Mandel’s world ever since she welcomed him into her Hoboken, New Jersey home.

With all the affection and care Jordan gave him, Frank grew into a confident, happy pup. Always sociable and loved by everyone he met, Jordan thought the local dog parks would be the perfect place for him to play, socialize, and make plenty of friends.

But during one visit, something unfolded that neither Jordan nor Frank expected, leaving them both with heavy hearts.
