Video footage shows the moment armed police officers - one with a chainsaw - swarmed the street where the Manchester synagogue terror attacker lived.

Police descended on the residential Prestwich Cul-de-Sac, Langley Crescent, wearing camouflage gear and carrying automatic weapons.

One officer is seen carrying a chainsaw while another has a police dog.

It came after two victims were killed in an attack at Heaton Park synagogue on the holiest day of the Jewish calendar, Yom Kippur. Content cannot be displayed without consent

The attacker, 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, drove a car at members of the public and stabbed others, before trying to gain access to the temple.
