City of Godley asking for help with pack of roaming stray dogs

GODLEY, Texas — Mercedes Ruth describes the first time she saw a pack of dogs running through her subdivision, the Star Ranch Community in Godley.

“It looked like they were on a mission, like they had somewhere to go," Ruth said.

Ruth and her family moved into Star Ranch about a year ago. New homes are being building in every direction of their home located in the middle of the block. She just saw the dogs recently while outside with family members.

“Me and my nephews were outside, and I was like, ‘Wow, where are they going?’ It looked like they were going somewhere, like they had somewhere to go. It was surreal," Mercedes said.
