OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KNOE) - The Family Justice Center of Ouachita Parish marked its 20th anniversary on Oct. 2, highlighting two decades of service to domestic violence survivors.

Among its most vital resources is embedded legal aid through a partnership with the District Attorney’s office and other agencies, ensuring survivors have immediate access to justice.

District Attorney Steve Tew, who serves Ouachita and Morehouse Parishes, says domestic violence cases are among the most dangerous his office prosecutes.
