LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Jesus Eduardo Reyes Ocampo made his first court appearance as an adult Friday afternoon.

The 18-year-old is charged with two counts of murder and tampering with physical evidence in the deaths of 16-year-old Ali Naqvi and 15-year-old Aoun Basboos.

Naqvi and Basboos were reported missing in May, after they were last seen getting into a white car. Court records show that car was found four days later at the Loradale Market on Russell Cave Road.

Lexington Police testimony in a previous hearing revealed the car was covered with a tarp, there were attempts to clean up blood, and a car seat had been removed and burned in a nearby fire pit.
