It’s a classic NFL tradition.

When two rival colleges face off, former stars at those schools who turned into NFL teammates often bet on the outcome.

That happened for at least two recent Penn State standouts after the Nittany Lions lost to Oregon in the White Out.

New York Giants rookie defensive end Abdul Carter and Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Tyler Warren had to wear Ducks gear to their weekly media availabilities. Oregon topped Penn State, 30-24, last Saturday in front of the second-largest crowd in Beaver Stadium history.

Carter lost his bet to fellow Giants defensive lineman Kayvon Thibodeaux, while Warren lost his to Colts D-lineman DeForest Buckner.
