A Bradenton man accused of stabbing his brother’s girlfriend multiple times in mid-August has been found incompetent to proceed with his case, according to court records.

Dakota Michael Hayes, 21, was arrested on Aug. 18 by Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputies . The victim told deputies Hayes threatened to kill her multiple times and that he had been obsessed with her for several years, calling him a “complete psycho.” The family of the victim had previously asked to keep her identity private.
