STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- St. Joseph by-the-Sea had started the 2025 season reeling off seven consecutive wins to sit atop the CHSAA A division standings. That included a 6-1 season-opening triumph at home against Island-rival St. Peter’s.

The second-place Eagles have also been piping hot since that first defeat and have taken their next six starts, outscoring opponents 29-10 in that span.
