CONSTANTINE ― Kalamazoo United scored on the opening play from scrimmage against Constantine in their Week 6 football game.
Unfortunately for the Falcons, it would be as close as they would get to the visiting Titans. Kalamazoo United scored the opening 34 points of the game and ran away with a 34-7 victory on Friday, Oct. 3. It put a damper on Hall of Fame night for Constantine as the 2002 girls track team, Jake Bower, Josh Gold and Jason Sorn were all honored for the school's enshrinement.
United took advantage early in the game. The Titans led 14-0 after one quarter of action and 20-0 at halftime. There was one touchdown in the third quarter, a Jackson Herder TD pass.
Constantine got on the board late in the game on a 10-yard run from Braden Bienz. Cael Smith made the extra point.
