THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Evans and Glynn Academy faced off at Knights Stadium, with both teams looking for a vital region win to stay in the Class 5A playoff picture.

Glynn Academy won by a final score of 40-17.

Glynn Academy made a three-hour trip, but controlled this one from the jump.

With the first half running down, quarterback Ayden Wilson fooled the Knights with a keeper, down to the 5-yard line.

And on the next play, DJ Creighton gets in the end zone from 5 yards out to give Glynn Academy a 24-3 halftime lead.

Evans tried to reset out of the half, but Knights Quarterback Tripp Ferguson never saw James Kennedy coming.
