PITTSFIELD -- The MCI Huskies faced off against the Belfast Lions for their homecoming game on Friday night.

After the Lions took the early lead, the Huskies were looking to get on the board and opted for a screen play to catch the defense off guard. However, the Lions didn't fall for it, and sophomore Ross Philbrook stopped the play before it even had a chance for a first down.

On that same drive, MCI would respond as quarterback Caleb Rush called the keeper and ran it in himself for the touchdown, and after a successful two-point conversation, the Huskies took the lead.

On the next Huskies possession, Rush had his number called again. He broke several tackles on his way to 50-yard touchdown run.

MCI would come away with a 37-27 win.
