ELLIOTTSBURG – A hard-fought football game that featured its share of big plays and turning points appeared headed to overtime Friday night as Big Spring, trailing by seven points, lined up for a first-and-goal at the West Perry 3-yard line as the clock winked inside 20 seconds.
One more big play was on tap, as Big Spring quarterback Chase Fry faked a handoff, fumbled the football and West Perry’s Landon Wilson fell on top of it with 15 seconds to play.
