FREEPORT — The Harlem football team didn’t waste any time shaking off last week’s setback.
Seven days after a narrow loss to Guilford that ended their perfect start to the season, the Huskies erupted for a season-high scoring outburst in Week 6, spoiling Freeport’s homecoming with a 59–14 win on Friday, Oct. 3.
Harlem’s offensive balance was on full display. The Huskies racked up 264 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground, while quarterback Braxton Fausett went 7-for-12 passing for 151 yards and two scores, giving Harlem a one-two punch that Freeport couldn’t contain.
